This page explains information handled when you read CarryOnSizes or contact us. It covers the website at carryonsizes.com, including its travel guides and contact form. Last updated: October 17, 2026.
Reading the site
You do not need a public reader account to read our guides. Ordinary website requests can include an IP address, browser information, requested address and request time. Hosting and security systems can process this information to deliver pages, troubleshoot errors and protect the website.
The site is hosted with Hostinger and uses WordPress. Technical providers can process information needed to operate their services. Their processing is subject to their own service terms and privacy information as well as the website’s configuration.
Messages you send us
Our contact form asks for your name, email address and message. We use those details to read your inquiry, assess a correction or reply. Messages are delivered through website email systems to the site’s administrative inbox.
Email and hosting providers therefore handle the message during delivery and storage. A reply can include the details you supplied, so avoid sending information you would not want in ordinary email. We do not need passport numbers, payment card details, passwords or booking references to review an article correction.
The form uses a hidden spam field, a WordPress security token and a short rate limit. The rate limit uses a hashed network address to limit repeated submissions. These checks help protect the form; they do not make a message anonymous.
Analytics and cookies
CarryOnSizes uses Google Analytics through its website integration to understand site use and page performance. Depending on consent choices, browser settings and the integration’s configuration, analytics can process page addresses, device information and cookie identifiers. An enabled analytics service should not be understood as anonymous simply because we do not ask readers to sign in.
Google explains the information it receives from participating sites in its partner-site privacy information. That page also describes available controls. Google’s own processing and settings are governed by its policies.
Cookies and similar browser storage can also support consent choices and administrative login functions. You can inspect, block or delete cookies through your browser. Blocking them can affect some website functions and does not remove information already sent to a service.
Ezoic and AdSense advertising are temporarily disabled for this launch. Cookies from an earlier visit can remain in your browser until they expire or you delete them. If advertising is enabled again, this page and the relevant consent information will need to reflect the services in use.
Shopping links and other websites
Some product links can earn CarryOnSizes a commission. Clicking one takes you to a retailer or a tracking service that may process referral information and use its own cookies. Our affiliate disclosure explains the commercial relationship.
Official policy links and other external sites also have their own privacy practices. Their forms, accounts and transactions are outside this website. Check their policies before sharing personal information.
We do not collect airline bookings, TSA applications or retailer payments through our guides. If you need one of those services, use the relevant official provider. Do not send an application or payment details through our contact form.
Storage and requests about your information
Messages can remain in the administrative inbox and the email provider’s storage while an inquiry or correction is handled. Technical records and service data follow the applicable systems’ retention settings. We do not state a single fixed deletion period for every provider or record.
You can contact us to ask about personal information you supplied, request a correction or request deletion. Describe the message or interaction involved without sending sensitive identity documents. We may need to confirm that a request concerns your information before acting on it.
What can be removed depends on the record and the systems involved. Browser controls do not delete messages from an inbox, and a request to us does not automatically remove records held by an external retailer. We will assess requests against the information and access available to us.
Changes to this page
Website integrations and practices can change. We will revise this page when the information it describes changes, and show the updated date here. For a privacy question, use the contact form and identify the part of this page you want clarified.
