Only links to products: suitcases, backpacks, packing cubes, luggage scales, travel bottles and similar. Links to airlines, security authorities, government pages and our own content are never affiliate links.
It does not change a rules page. Carry-on dimensions, fees, item verdicts and every other factual page on this site are unaffected by whether a product manufacturer has an affiliate programme.
It does not change what we recommend. Where we suggest a product, it is because it fits the problem the page is about. Commission rates vary between retailers and we do not rank on them.
It does not change what we say about a product. If a popular bag measures larger than advertised, we say so, and we say so on the page where its affiliate link sits.
This site also carries display advertising. Advertisers have no input into editorial content and no advance sight of it.
