Electronics are the one category where the checked bag is the wrong answer. Spare lithium batteries and power banks must fly in the cabin, never in the hold, because a battery fire under the floor cannot be reached. Laptops, tablets and cameras can go either way, but the FAA and most airlines want the ones with installed batteries in the cabin too.The limits are stated in watt hours: under 100 Wh is free, 100 to 160 Wh needs airline approval and is capped at two, and over 160 Wh does not fly as baggage at all.
