A dated log of what changed and when, produced as a by-product of checking every airline page ourselves.
Baggage policies change quietly. An airline trims a carry-on allowance by an inch, or moves a fee up by ten dollars, and the only announcement is the page itself changing. Anyone who copied the old number once and never went back is now publishing something false.
We re-check carrier pages on a schedule and stamp every airline record with the date it was last verified. This log is simply that data, ordered by date. It costs us nothing extra to publish and it is the clearest proof we can offer that the numbers on this site are maintained rather than scraped once and forgotten.
Every airline page carries the date its figures were last read off the carrier’s own site, and a link to the page they came from. If that date is old, treat the figures as indicative and check the source before you fly. If a page carries no date at all, we have not verified it yet and we say so on the page rather than filling the gap with a plausible guess.
