The Kuwait Airways baggage allowance for carry-on stays flat across fares
Kuwait Airways caps carry-on bags at 56 x 46 x 25 cm in every cabin. In inches, that is 22 x 18 x 10. The weight allowance does not stay flat, though.
Economy gets 7 kg, or 15.4 lb. Royal, First, and Business get 11 kg, or 24.2 lb, for the same size bag.
You can also bring one personal item from a short list. That covers a handbag, a briefcase, a coat, an umbrella, a small camera, a walking stick, or a duty-free purchase. Kuwait Airways does not publish a size limit for it, so keep it modest and run it through our size checker first.
How the Kuwait Airways baggage allowance differs by cabin and by fare
Royal and First get 3 checked pieces at 32 kg each. Business gets 2 pieces at that same 32 kg. Standard Economy gets 2 pieces too, but at 23 kg each.
Below standard Economy sits Economy Saver, worth reading closely if you booked cheap. It includes 1 piece at 32 kg on most routes. New York gets 2 pieces instead.
Below that sits Economy Zero Bag, which includes no checked bag at all. The same New York exception applies here too, plus two more.
The New York, Manila, and Guangzhou carve out
Kuwait Airways states plainly that checked baggage does not apply on the Zero Bag fare. It then lists an exception: flights to or from New York (JFK), Manila (MNL), and Guangzhou (CAN). On those three routes, the Zero Bag fare still carries a checked allowance.
If you connect to Kuwait Airways through Kuwait from some other US city, do not assume the exception follows. It is written as a JFK exception specifically. It is not a blanket US rule.
Checked bag sizes, in numbers Americans already use
Piece size tops out at 90 x 65 x 75 cm for Business and Economy. Royal and First get a larger 110 x 65 x 75 cm. Kuwait Airways separately caps the combined length, width, and height too.
That combined cap runs 158 cm, or 62 inches, for Business and Economy. Royal and First get 250 cm, or 98 inches. The 62 inch figure matches the linear limit most US carriers already use.
Extra, overweight, and oversize bags cost more toward the USA
An extra piece beyond your allowance runs 45 KWD to Europe. Toward the USA, it jumps to 65 KWD. Oversize or overweight alone costs 10 KWD on GCC routes, and 26 KWD toward the USA.

Electronics get extra scrutiny to the UK and USA
On flights to London Heathrow and to New York JFK, Kuwait Airways asks that laptops, tablets, and phones be powered on and out of their case. That is for security screening. Pack a charger so you can switch a device on at the gate if asked.

Kuwait Airways enforces its checked bag limits per piece, not as a pooled total.
