What the Discover Airlines baggage allowance covers in the cabin
Economy and Premium Economy get one carry-on bag. It can measure up to 55 x 40 x 23 cm, or about 22 x 16 x 9 in. It cannot weigh more than 8 kg.
Business Class gets two cabin bags at that same size and weight. Everyone also gets one personal item, up to 40 x 30 x 15 cm, such as a handbag or a laptop bag. That comes straight from the carrier’s own carry-on page.

Economy includes one checked bag up to 23 kg. Premium Economy includes two bags up to 23 kg each. Business includes two bags up to 32 kg each.
Every checked bag is capped at 158 cm of total linear size, no matter the fare. That figure comes from the carrier’s own baggage pages.

Excess and oversize baggage
Discover Airlines defines excess baggage as anything over 23 kg. The hard ceiling is 32 kg. Anything larger than 158 cm, up to a total of 292 cm, also counts as excess.
Past those numbers the airline will not carry the bag at all.
The airline’s site does not publish exact dollar fees for a first bag, a second bag, or an overweight charge. It says flat rate pricing applies and points travelers to an agent or its own service center. We are recording that as a gap, not guessing a number.
What happens if your carry-on does not fit
Gate staff can pull a bag that fails the sizer. It then flies in the hold instead. The airline states plainly that this gate fee runs well above what the same bag costs if booked ahead.
