Checked baggage weight and size
Standard checked bags top out at 32 kg per piece, about 70.5 lb. Dimensions must not exceed 119 x 119 x 81 cm. That is a generous box compared to most US carriers’ size rules for checked luggage.
Golf equipment gets folded into the standard allowance too. If length, width, and height combined stay under 203 cm, it travels as a normal checked bag. It does not need to book as sports gear.
Oversized bags and how the math actually works
Bags that exceed the standard box but stay under 200 x 119 x 81 cm, still at 32 kg or less, count as oversized. This applies on flights run by Vietjet itself.

A second oversized item has to be bought at the airport. Vietjet caps passengers at two oversized pieces per person per flight. You can switch a standard bag to oversized up to three hours before departure through Vietjet’s own sales channels.
Liquids and lithium batteries at the gate
On international flights, the usual rule applies: containers under 100 ml, one liter total, in a clear bag. Buy something airside past security and it can skip that volume cap. It just needs to stay sealed in a security bag until you land.
Domestic Vietjet flights skip the liquid volume limit almost entirely. The exceptions are alcohol and anything odorous. Power banks and other removable lithium-ion batteries must ride in your carry-on, never in a checked bag.
